Types of NounNoun: Noun is a naming word. All the existing things have a certain name.
For example, Bangalore, Hari Kumar, Mobile, Confusion, Sincerity, Honesty
Proper Noun : proper means particular. Proper noun is the name of particular person, place, thing.
Example: Neha, Aman, Samsung, Apple, Gurwakheda
Common Noun
Names of common things are called common noun.
Example: boy, girl, employee, employer, city, district, country
Charu (P.N.) is a cherubic girl.(C.N.)
India is the best country.
The mobiles of Motorola are a few in market these days.
Collective Noun
Names of collection is called collective noun.
People, children, crowd, scenery, police, crew, jury, assembly, audience, furniture, hair,
Material Noun
Names of matters are called material nouns.
For example- gold, silver, plastic, jinc, rubber, brick, stone, iron, zip sum
Abstract Noun
Abstract means intangible. It can only be felt. Abstract nouns can be the names of feelings, state of mind, actions, etc.
